Trailer Park Boys biography
Trailer Park Boys is a Canadian mockumentary television series created by Mike Clattenburg that originally aired on Showcase (Canadian TV channel) from April 22, 2001 to December 7, 2008, with a one-hour special released on December 7, 2008 called Trailer Park Boys: Christmas in New York, and a second special released on September 25, 2009 called Trailer Park Boys: Countdown to Liquor Day. In 2013, Robb Wells, John Paul Tremblay, and Mike Smith (actor), the actors who respectively portrayed Ricky LaFleur, Julian (character), and Bubbles (Trailer Park Boys), purchased the rights to the show from the original producers and created their own internet streaming network, "Swearnet". From March 2014, Swearnet co-produced the first new episodes of the show with the American streaming service Netflix, beginning with the eighth season on September 5, 2014, as well as several specials and mini-series.
